To my Cousin Mike and his family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mike was there for me in many ways. I remember staying with him and his Wife Penny in Lexington when we worked together as Certified Nursing Assistants at the Local Nursing Home especially in the Winter time when roads were bad and we couldn't get back to Colfax. Mike was a big guy like me and helped us Move from Apartment number one from Apartment number 4 so we could be closer to the road and school in Colfax when he stayed with us. Remember a Time when we were smaller when we all climbed up a Television antenna tower like a ladder and had our picture taken before we went to Brookfield Zoo in Chicago in Uncle Jerome and Aunt Julie's station wagon, where we got Sailor hats. Many memories of Family reunions through the years. I will miss you Mike and keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do, let me know. Family is all we have in hard times. Love you all.

I had Mike as a student in 8th grade at Central Junior High School. I enjoyed talking to him and having him in class. I am so sorry about his passing. I did not know that he had cancer. A few days ago I messaged him on facebook. I did not know that he was so ill. I would have personally called him had I known. Mike was a polite and sensitive young man. I enjoyed having him in class. He always treated me with respect as I did him too. Please accept my deepest condolences. I will not be able to come to the visitation as I am not in town at this time.
