Brit & Family,
As you might remember, I had the pleasure of having both you and your mom in psychology class and although I moved on and back up North, I wanted you all to know that I think of you often and miss her so very much. Your mom was-for me-a reminder of all the reasons that teacher's love to teach and, even more than that, a gentle reminder of all that's good in this world. Michelle was hard-working, generous and one of the kindest souls I met during all my time down South. I can only imagine the hole her absence has left. I also remember, however, talking to her about her love for her garden and the peace and serenity she found outside which I imagine to be in your backyard, I guess. That said, I hope you feel her presence and know that something loved is never lost and you all were loved so unfathomably much.
