Norma Jean Gotter

Norma Jean Gotter, 84, of Creve Coeur, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on November 20, 1940 in Pulaski,Tennessee, a daughter of John Thomas Lovett and Evelyn (Johnson) Lovett. Norma married John Gotter. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1997 in Creve Coeur.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Bobby Lovett.

Norma is survived by her five children, Jackie DeBolt of Sycamore, David A. (Diane) DeBolt of Pekin, Rita (Kevin) Dobson of East Peoria, Jeff DeBolt of Creve Coeur, and Wade A. (Treena) Gotter of Ancona; one step-son, John "Chip" (Nancy) Gotter of Lombard; one step-daughter, Linda (Tony) Lawinger of Streamwood; several grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She had a proud career as a waitress in many local establishments over the years.

Norma loved crafting, sewing, crocheting, cooking, gardening, and especially spending time with her family.

Norma's service will be private. Entombment will take place at American Mausoleum in Peoria.
