Patricia "Suzie" Suzann Whitney

She was born on January 8, 1952, in Peoria, to Joseph and Velma (Young) Cole. She previously married James F. Neltner Jr., and together had 3 children. Suzie married Jerry Whitney on May 4, 2013 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Scott Neltner of Peoria, Jodi (Brian) Nichols of Ridgeland, SC, Kim Patacsil of East Peoria, Valerie (Mike) Griffin of South Pekin, Andrea (Dan) Shuda of Pekin, Amber Whitney of Tennessee, Stacey (Anthony) Gardner of Pekin, and Jacob Whitney of North Pekin; twenty-three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her siblings, Neil (Margie) Turner, Dan (Nancy) Turner, Timothy Cole, and Kathi (Rod) Simpson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her second father Clarence Lee Turner; two sisters, Valerie Cole and Vickie Lockhart; and three brothers, Alan Turner, Tommy Cole and Mikey Cole.

Suzie loved to go shopping, decorate for the holidays, and play dice and cards with her husband Jerry. She also enjoyed getting together with her cousins for trips where they traveled and shopped together. She was dedicated to REVIVE Church in East Peoria. She was very involved with her family, they were her life, and meant the world to her. She also loved her fur babies. She will be dearly missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 17, at 5pm, with a visitation prior from 3pm to 5pm, at REVIVE Church. Pastor John King will be officiating.
