Pearl Louisa Parr

She was born Feb. 9, 1939 in Peoria to Harlen and Pearl Kath (Buhl) Frazell. They preceded her in death. She married William J. Parr on Sept. 1, 1966. He survives.

Also surviving are her sister, Charlotte Harrison of Peoria; brother, Paul Frazell of Pekin; 2 daughters, Cecilia M. Eckert of Avon, Cynthia C. Morris of Florida; 6 sons, Jerry H. Frank Jr. of Varna, Timothy A. (and Nanette) Frank of Elkhart, IN, Kevin J. Parr of Oregon, James A. (and Lisa)) Parr of Avon, Warren J. Parr-Whitehurst of Sparland, and Steven V. Parr of Peoria; also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Larry Whitehurst and friend, Eldon Reed who were her primary caregivers.

She was a member of St. Boniface (St. Ann) Church in Peoria for many years and later in life was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lacon. She was an avid bowler on many different leagues. She loved the Cubs even though they lost a lot. She enjoyed traveling, knitting and crocheting making afghans for her family and friends. She was a very giving person. She gave over 10 gallons of blood to the Red Cross. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with Chaplin Steve Drennan officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
