

Born on September 21, 1951, Rebecca was the daughter of Ocie Orias (Meadows) and Louis Orias. She was a devoted wife to the late James Tibbs, and a loving sister to Larry Orias, Louis Lee Orias, Vivian (Orias) Price, and Marilyn Sue (Orias) West, and son, Kermit Thomas Kilgore all of whom preceded her in death.
Rebecca was the proud mother to, Barbara Gail Tibbs, Mary (Kilgore) Bogar (Tonya Ritschel), Jonathan Tibbs (Kayla Blanton) She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katilyn Mattae Bogar (Wesley Gillen), Kiana Marie Tibbs, Brittany Justice, Marquita Justice and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A woman of deep faith, Rebecca was a longtime member of Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church, where she found comfort and community. She retired after years of dedicated service as a cafeteria worker at Millard Grade School in Kentucky, where she touched countless young lives with her warmth and compassion.
Rebecca was also a published author, having written the heartfelt book "Just Dreaming."
She spent much of her life caring for her family and offering her heart to others. Her love was genuine, her kindness unending, and her presence unforgettable.
She never met a stranger—if you knew her, you were family. And if you didn’t know her yet, she was already your friend. Known lovingly as "Ninny" to nearly everyone.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
