It is amazing how life works. I believe in fate and I know our paths were meant to cross. Because of you I was able to meet Debra. During the short time I knew you I loved hearing your stories, your smile and optimism was amazing as was your sense of humor. RIP Rich

Rich, words cannot express our broken hearts as we think about losing such an amazing brother inlaw. You were the rock of support to so many members of our family. Words cannot express our emptiness that is felt in our hearts, but we must remain strong and carry on as this is what you would want. We thank God for the opportunity to take you and Debbie on your final trip to Florida, from fishing on the pier to laughing till late in the evening at the hotel. You will be missed brother !! Love you forever and ever !! Until we meet again on the other side...... Go rest high on that mountain son for your work on earth is done....... Love you forever..... Kathy and Jay

I have never known such a giving and generous person as Richard, he and Debbie opened their home to me in Florida not knowing anything about me when I moved there with his brother. I became good friends with both and then became aunt to 3 beautiful children, Bobby Jo and Mandy and Billy. Through the years they have still considered me a friend and family and I am so sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful husband and father. I know there are no words to fill such a huge hole in your hearts. I pray that all of you will hold onto each other and support each other in your grief and I love you all with all of my heart!

Senor richard,
I am so glad we were able to go on all those trips together. We had so much fun. You ate everything in sight. We would always have you eat the stuff we didn't know what it was so we would know if we would like it or not. I love arguing with you about baked apples or fried apples at cracker barrel. Well guess what you get the last word it's baked you win! You will always have a piece of my heart and you will be missed. Thank God you are at peace now. I love you and miss you so much.

Hey Richard;

I did not really know you all that well until you and I finally started traveling with Evelyn and Debbie. You always made me laugh because of how much food you could consume for having such a tiny body. Kicking that wicker basket without tossing in a tip in Dominican Republic was a hoot. When I finally beat you with our shrimp eating challenge I could not believe it!!! You are now resting in peace my dear friend and I will miss you terribly.....
