Very sorry for your loss. Mr. Hirstein was one of my favorite teachers over the years. He was my 5th and 6th grade teacher at Armstrong in 1982 and 83. He was also our basketball coach. He wore a suit everyday and now I know as an adult, that was not fun. He was a great teacher/coach, loved the students and was well respected.
