

Edwards – Roy E. Fuller, 85, of Edwards, IL passed away Friday, June 07, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side. Roy was born December 25, 1927 in Dongola, IL to Roy and Theresa (Rendleman) Fuller. He married Rose Luncsford on February 21, 1990.
Surviving is his wife Rose Fuller of Edwards, IL, three daughters; Brenda Miller of Bellevue, IL, Karen (Marty) Stenger of Brimfield, IL, and Theresa (Michael) Carroll of Brimfield, IL, two sons; James (Beth) Fuller of Edwards, IL, and Larry Fuller of Edwards, IL, step-daughter Corinna (Israel) Martinez of Elmwood, IL, three step sons; Charles (Denise) Walker of Pekin, IL, John (Teresa) Walker of Peoria, IL, and Joseph (Rhonda) Walker of Peoria, IL, grandchildren; Deanna, Angie, Justin, Jennifer, Joshua, Joanna, Jamie, Matthew, Marcy, Zachary, and Abby, step-grandchildren; James, Haley, Megan, Skye, Veronica, and Zack, twenty one great grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren, two sisters; Doris (Bud) Adams of Millstadt, IL, and Mary Ann (Carl) Mohr of Pinckneyville, IL, and four brothers; Earl (Pat) Fuller of East Peoria, IL, Carl (Patty) Fuller of East Peoria, IL, Bill (Patsy) Fuller of Mackinaw, IL, and Kenneth (Bernee) Fuller of Wilmington, IL,. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Marcelene Tripp, son Roger Fuller, grandson Joseph Stenger, step-grandson Steven Walker, and brother Ronald Fuller.
Roy was a veteran of World War II serving from 1946 to 1947 in the United States Army. Following his time in the service, he went on to work as a carpenter for Joobs Construction and later River City Construction. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Local 183 for fifty years, Kickapoo Sportsmen’s Club, and the Farm Bureau.
Roy was an avid gardener who was known for his large garden and great produce. He was a family man too, always spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm Monday, June 10, 2013 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
