Sandra Darlene Davis

She was born on January 25, 1954 to James and Martha (Petty) Deweese in Cairo, IL. She married Joseph Parod in 1974 and he passed in August 1986. She later married Arthur Davis, and he later passed on December 10, 2017.

Darlene was a waitress at the original Davis Brothers Pizza over 10 years. She also worked as a manager at Harolds Hamburger for many years.

Darlene was a Cubs Scout Leader for several years. She was very artistic and loved to paint, and she shared that love with her children and grandchildren. She loved her children, grandchildren, and the daycare children that became her own. Darlene also had a green thumb, having a love for gardening, and taking care of her plants.

She was also a member of Bethany Missionary Church in East Peoria, IL.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Deweese; her children, Jodi Parod, Matthew Parod, Jason (Julie) Davis, Jody Davis, and Justin Davis; her grandchildren, Katie Pisel, Isabella Randolph, Peyton Yakle, Ellie Yakle, and Liam Davis; her great grandchildren, Kade Pisel, Corey Pisel, and Kamila Pisel; and her siblings, Christopher (Lisa Dearing) Deweese, Mark (Amanda) Deweese, and Patty (Jim) Fowler.

She is preceded by her father; both of her husbands; her sister and brother-in-law, Belinda (Mike) Kern; and her grandson, Jaron Yakle.

A Graveside Service in honor of Darlene will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria, IL. A Visitation will be held after the graveside service at 12:00 pm at Bethany Missionary Church in East Peoria, IL. The family also invites friends to join them for a meal after services at 1:00 pm at the church.
