Born Dec. 7, 1932 in East Peoria to Homer S. and Verla (Avery) Parrott. She married Howard J. Stachura. He preceded her in death. She later married George Martin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, James; and 2 brothers, Homer and Donald.
Surviving are 4 children, Judy Sheppard, Jean Stachura, Joe (Micki) Stachura, Jan (Walter) Fitzgerald; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Sidney worked at Caterpillar Inc., and retired as a supervisor. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Cremation has been accorded. A Memorial Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.
