Teresa L Lopez

East Peoria – Teresa Lynn Lopez, 58, of East Peoria, IL passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1958 in Peoria, IL to Dallas and Reba (Reynolds) Wilcoxson. Teresa married Terry Lopez on July 4, 2005 in East Peoria, IL.

Surviving are: her husband Terry Lopez of East Peoria, sisters; Debra Wilcoxson of East Peoria and Amy (Richard) Hadley of Corning, AR, and two nephews; Jacob Hadley and Blake Wilcoxson.

Teresa had many interests and hobbies. She loved painting, jewelry making, art, and music. Teresa had a special place in her heart for children as well. She taught Sunday school and children’s church for many years and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in East Peoria.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the First Church of the Nazarene in East Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in Teresa’s name, at any CEFCU to assist Terry with expenses. Online tributes may be left at www.RemmertFuneralHome.com
