Terry Ray Baker

He was born on April 14, 1940 in Peoria to Ray and Helen (Barnes) Baker. He married Susan Kerr on Dec. 30, 1961 in Peoria. She passed away on Feb. 26, 1995 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include five children: Susan (Mark) Gobeyn of Peoria, Jill (Vince) Hilst of Germantown Hills, Sally Duffy of Chicago, Joe Baker of East Peoria, Amy (Tom) Eckstein of Germantown Hills, eight grandchildren, and his companion and close friend, Sharon Cooley of Peoria.

Terry was an Appliance Repairman in the Peoria area for over 50 years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration will take place at a later date for Terry. Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Saint Mary’s School in Metamora.
