Virginia L. Weller

She was born January 31, 1931 in Peoria to Howard and Venita (Sinks) Spangler. She married Louis A. Weller, Jr on April 16, 1949 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2001 in Peoria.

Surviving are; her children, Reggie (Patti) Weller of East Peoria, Cathy (Robert) Wilkey of Secor and Marty (Linda) Weller of Washington; 6 grand children; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Ray) Bollinger of Peoria and Shirley Lowder of Bartonville; brother, Ned (Doris) Powell of Florida; two nieces and her mother, Ruth Spangler of East Peoria.

Virginia worked at Logan Printing for over 30 years as a binder. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and attending races at Peoria Speedway to cheer for her husband and sons.

She attended Sunnyland Christian Church.

Her funeral will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with the Rev. Evan Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the funeral home.
