Wayne Henson

Born April 15, 1943 in Pontiac, Michigan to Nolan and Lorene (Lovett) Henson, he married Olivia “Carol” Henson in 1965 and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2007.

He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Stauffacher; brother, Denis Henson and sisters, Barbara Henson and Brenda Brewster.

Surviving are his sons, Dennis, Steve and Larry Henson; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Sara, Dannyel, Christina, Cassadia, Bryanna, Mitchell, Mariah and Cheyenne; six great grandchildren; sister, Mary Wise and many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a machinist with Boley Tool & Machine in East Peoria for many years.

He is remembered as a loving father and grandfather and will be missed very much.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
