Alta Catherine Brooks, age 97, of Atlanta, passed away August 13, 2015. Surviving are daughter; Susie Brooks Fouts, sons; James and David Brooks, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 East Point St., East Point, GA 30344. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12: 00 pm to 2:00 pm the day of the service.
