Ann H. Johnson

Roxie Ann Johnson, 83, a resident of Litchfield, Maine passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 19th at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Clermont, Georgia on August 24, 1931, the daughter of Samuel and Ida Hooper Hulsey. On May 25, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia, Ann and Hiram N. Johnson were married; Hiram passed away March 6, 2013. Ann was a loving mom and grandmother and worked at Bell South Telephone Company in Georgia which later became ATT. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Ann was a member of the Grace and Truth Bible Church, Litchfield, Maine. She is survived by her son, the Rev. Neal Johnson and his wife, Patricia, of Litchfield; her daughter, Lisa Kirk and her husband, Larry, of Lutz, Florida, four grandchildren, Matthew and Rebecca Johnson and Tripp and Brittany Kirk; two great-grandchildren; Cade and Atlantis; and a sister Sally Gailey, of Savannah, Georgia. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Hiram Johnson; and five brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 East Point St., East Point, GA 30344. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
