Betty Jean Smith, age 70, of Atlanta, passed away away April 15, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lloy Smith and a sister Gwen Mango. Surviving are husband: Charles Smith, son: Charles Randall (Melissa) Smith, daughter: April (William) Woodall, grandchildren: Kimberley Diane Smith, Tabitha Smith, Cody Smith. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 8:00 pm at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 East Point St., East Point, GA 30344. The family will receive friends Friday the day of the service from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Faith Church of God, 3140 Young Dr., East Point, GA 30344.
