Carl R. Cortright age 83, of East Point, GA, died Feb. 20, 2010. An honest man, a caring individual, a godly figure: all describe the one we love and will miss dearly. The man who was closest to the Lord when he was working in the garden, beautifying the land that we all walked on. We all are truly blessed to know and love you, and you will remain in our hearts forever. Surviving are wife, Lucille J. Cortright, son, Jeffrey & Donna Cortright, daughters, Polly & Ron Ludvigsen, Laurie & Steve Berey, grandchildren, Kenneth, Tabitha, Megan, Kalie, Ethan, & Chase, great grandchildren, Cody, Kara, Dakota, Lexie, & Mark. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley East Point. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
