David L. Tankersley, Sr., age 78, Fayetteville, GA passed away on January 5, 2014. He is survived by his sons, David (Tracy) Tankersley, Greg (Theresa) Tankersley, and Kenny Tankersley; and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2013 in the chapel at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 2968 East Point Street, East Point, GA at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
