Grover Lankford, age 85, of Atlanta, passed away May 14, 2015. Mr Lankford was preceded in death by his wife: Willette Lankford, and 2 brothers: Sport Lankford, Clark Lankford. Surviving are sons: William Lankford, Joey (Denise) Lankford, granddaughters: Beverly (Andrew) Combs, Donna (Chris) Freeman, 4 great grandchildren, brother: Sam Lankford, sisters: Lucille Epps, Alice Griffith, Elizabeth Epps, Betty Elrod. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 East Poiny St., East Point, GA 30344. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Dahlonega, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
