Lenora Evatt Houston, age 96, of East Point, passed away May 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband; M.B. Houston, a daughter; Elaine H. Beaber, and a great grandson; Major Sanders. Mrs. Houston was a life time member of East Point Christian Church. Surviving are grandchildren; Lea (Terry) Sanders, John (Sonya) Beaber, and Gene (Laura) Beaber, great grandchildren; Malvin Sanders, Cole and Macie Beaber, sister-in-law; Rebecca Evatt. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 East Point St., East Point, GA 30344. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
