Mother, Giver of Life, Protector, throughout a tenuous childhood and above all else, our 'Exemplar'---she taught her children, the 'Art of Living' well---memories live on--in us--in our children and our grandchildren!

Marie was my mother-in-law. She lived a life of love, grace, dignity and humor. I thought the world of her and never doubted her love for me, children and grandchildren. She was always honored by her children and they will obviously miss her sorely. Happiness to John for all his hard work. Affection and best regards to all the family. From Marsha, Chava, Christian, Caroline, Shenandoah and Gil, Leif and Autumn, Taylor, Jahmilha, and Indigo.

To the entire Crook family, John and I send loving thoughts and healing prayers to you during this most difficult time.  I have known Jackson for 20 + years and have made acquaintance with Robert, John and Marie through FaceBook  Your Mom did a great job in raising you up to be kind, compassionate, and caring  people.  I am honored to know you all.

Love and prayers to the Crook family. I'm proud to have her daughter as a long time friend from college. She must have been a great woman to have such a sweet and caring daughter!

My great love and gratitude is extended to all who attend this memorial service for the remarkable Marie J. Crook who touched all of our lives in different and wonderful ways. I am her eldest son, no longer known as Leslie Crook but that is immaterial. Mother is with the almighty as I write these words and I am truly gladdened by this news. She has gone to her just and fitting reward. Now she is among the angels and other beauties of the higher heavens who move in the light of the eternal ineffable.
