Mattie M Whitehead

In loving memory of Mattie Mae Whitehead who passed away at 1:04 PM on March 13 in Ocala Florida. Ms Whitehead was the daughter of Henry and Emily Battle of Americus GA. She was the devoted wife of forty-four years to Clyde Whitehead, who passed away in 1982. Ms Whitehead was a lifelong resident of College Park until she moved to Ocala five years ago to be with her sister, Kathryn B. White who survives her. Mattie, while your many friends and relatives mourn your passing, we rejoice in the knowledge that you are reunited with loved ones and at peace in the arms of our Lord.

There will be a viewing at 2:00 PM on March 20 in Ocala at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services. Memorial and funeral services will be held at the Carmichael - Hemperley Funeral Home with interment at College Park Memorial Park on Saturday, March 23 with a viewing at 1:00 PM and services at 2:00 PM.
