Mrs. Peggy Baker Lowry

Mrs. Peggy Baker Lowry, age 81, of College Park, GA passed on October 3, 2011. Mrs. Lowry taught math for 20 years at Briarwood High School and five years at Creekside High School. She was an adventurous soul and an avid reader. Mrs. Lowry was also an active member of the East Point Christian Church. She loved sending cards to her loved ones and friends. Mrs. Lowry was a loving and faithful wife for 62 years to her surviving husband, Emery Lowry; she is also survived by children, Paul Gordon Lowry, Julie Lowry Pilchard and David Scott Lowry; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and sister, Joyce Baker Watkins. Mrs. Lowry is preceded in death by children, Steven Joseph Lowry and Margaret Lowry Touchberry. Services honoring her life will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11am at the East Point Christian Church with Dr. Hoyt Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on October 4, 2011 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, GA.
