Thomas E. Freeman, age 72, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away May 9, 2015. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Elizabeth Gayle Freeman and a brother: Leon Freeman. Surviving are wife: Betty Jean Freeman, daughters: Penny (Steve) Cowart, Pamela Caldwell, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother: Dan Freeman, sister: Ann Charvin, step-children: Bobby Hootman, Ginger Hilty, Gloria Holle, 8 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home 2968 East Point St., East Point, GA 30344. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
