Alex was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN; was a graduate of Ooltewah High School where he was a member of the Marching Band; and was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Linda and Donald Faul; father and stepmother, Barry and Sherry Moody; fiancée, Emily Bridges; step-brother, Travis Faul; step-sister, Monica (Micah) Carroll; grandparents, Edward and Nancy Kemper; grandmother, Opal Moody; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John W. Moody.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Jones UMC with Dr. T. David Tabor officiating, and visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
