Amanda was a graduate of Princeton High School and Concord College. She furthered her studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, and Liberty Baptist. Her greatest satisfaction came from working with abused women and children at Partnership for Families, Children and Adults. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Hixson, Tennessee.
Another love of her life was working for the betterment of all abused and abandoned animals causing her to adopt many, many through the years.
Amanda was talented in multiple crafts, sewing, knitting, diamond art and painting. Most of what she created was given away as gifts to both friends and strangers.
It was Amanda's wish to be cremated and her ashes spread back to the earth. There will be no visitation or funeral. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
Special thanks go to Erlanger Baroness Hospital MICU staff, Dr. Cohen and Dr. Mims of Chattanooga.
