Andrew David “Andy” Marcum, 52 of East Ridge, TN passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at his home. Andy was born in Kobe, Japan on July 13, 1969 to David and Alice Marcum. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church on Signal Mountain. He attended Siskin Early Stimulation Program for Handicap, Calvary Baptist School, East Ridge Middle School and graduated from Central High School. At 40 years of age Andy began attending Trousdale Academy in Cleveland, Tennessee. He had been employed as a crew member with McDonalds Restaurant and at the East Ridge Food Lion. Andy was active in Special Olympics and had been on a weekly bowling team.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Burlin and Eunice Willis and his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Nettie Marcum.
Survivors include his parents, David and Alice Marcum; two sisters, Cindy Ann Fowler and her husband Mark and Amy Lynn Turner and her husband Mark; nieces and nephews, Nathan Denney, Olivia Portier, Lynna Boudreau, Shelby Box, Nolan Turner, Serena Turner and Sadie Turner.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Community Baptist Church 2016 Corral Road, Signal Mountain, Tennessee with Rodney Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 PM Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the church.
