Ann R. Short

Ann was a Graduate of Central High School class of 1942 and had been employed as a secretary at TVA and Combustion. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the longest living member of Brainerd Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John H. Roberts, sisters Evelyn Roberts Scott, Joan Roberts Thatcher and a nephew Lance (Teresa) Scott, husband of 39 years William Arthur Harrison and later her husband Clyde M. Short.

She is survived by her son Kenneth (Debbie) Scott grandsons Jonathan and Jacob Scott, Powells Crossroads , Tn Nephews David Scott, Chattanooga, Tn, George (Pat) Scott, Chattanooga, Tn and nieces Margaret Kolska and Carol Kirkland and many other great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Forest Hills Cemetery with the Right Rev. Kim Hobby officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1:30 PM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
