Mrs. Gaddis was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was of the Baptist faith and was a dedicated mother and wife.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Elbert Gaddis, Jr.; sons, Steve Gaddis of Chattanooga and Darrell Gaddis of Soddy Daisy; brothers, James (Yvonne) Taylor of Tullahoma, TN and Larry Taylor of Soddy Daisy; sister, Diane Taylor of East Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Emma Taylor.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, February 4, 2013 and from 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Tate and Rev. Chris King officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.
