Barbara E Lindsey

Barbara Crabtree Lindsey, 77, of Chattanooga passed away Monday, October 17, 2022. She had been a Registered Nurse with Hospice of Chattanooga, Past President of the American Legion Post 95 Auxiliary, Former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member and past Treasurer of the Tennessee Valley Patriots Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Azalea Burroughs; siblings, Leonard V. “Buck” (Joyce) Burroughs, Betty (Carol) Parker, William (Clara) Burroughs, Robert (Evelyn) Burroughs, Richard (Joyce) Burroughs, Doris Cuzzort and Coleman Burroughs.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Hope; Scott (Ashley) Crabtree and Gene (Urline)Crabtree; nine grandchildren, William Dillinger, Amber Dillinger, William Crabtree, Taylor Crabtree Davis, Nathan Crabtree, Emery Crabtree, Mathew Crabtree, Nicholas Crabtree and Wyatt Crabtree; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Benny Cuzzort; sister-in-law, Joan Burroughs; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Monday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Leroux officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM Sunday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
