Barbara Ross Vaughn, 78, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her home. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Oliver Vaughn, parents, Earl and Lola Ross and a brother, Earl Ross. Survivors include her son, Ray (Judy) Vaughn, Jr. of Chattanooga; two daughters, Debra Vaughn and her son, Alex Vaughn of Chattanooga and Janice (Woody) Dejernette of Panama City, Panama; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at the East chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Clay Moreland and the Rev. Tony Walliser officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday and from 11AM to 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
