

Barry was a graduate of East Ridge High School and Chattanooga State. He served in the United States Army in Korea from 1968 to 1970. Barry was a licensed land surveyor, was highly regarded in the local surveying community, and in the mid-90s began his own company, BMS Surveying.
Barry was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and the YMCA, and enjoyed playing guitar with his “all-girl band,” the Bramble Roses. He was also an accomplished classical pianist.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Milton Snow, and stepfather, Donald G. Beck. Barry is survived by his mother, Alice B. Beck; loving companion, Pattee Wilbanks; sister, Carolyn “Shrimp” (Robert E.) Lee; nephews, Bryan, William and Adam; and great-nieces, Kassie and Kelsey.
Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery Monday, August 1 at 11:30 am. A memorial celebration will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barry Snow Scholarship Fund, Mars Hill Conferences, P.O. Box 6785, Mars Hill, NC 28754.
