Betty Idella Tyson Corlew, 84, of Chattanooga died Monday, July 22, 2013. She was born January 25, 1929, in Chattanooga to the late David O. M. Tyson and Beulah Ivey Whisenant Tyson. She worked as a secretary for TVA for 15 years.
Survivors include her daughter Dawn Corlew Boyle; son-in-law Edward Boyle; grandchildren Catherine Geiger, Sean Boyle, Brendan Boyle and James Boyle; sisters Nancy Tanner and Peggy Malone.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 25, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7 Wednesday evening and from 10-11 Thursday morning.
