He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ada Mae Mitchell; daughter, Missy Rash and son-in-law, Johnny Rash.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Rich Mitchell; daughter, Angie (Greg) Wright of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Heather (Scott) Tucker of Rossville, GA, Dusty (Jessica) Wright of Red Bank, TN, Garrett (Miranda) Wright of Chickamauga, GA and Jonathan Rash of Rossville, GA; great grandchildren, Madison Tucker, Lanie Wright, Peyton Wright, Levi Wright, Jensen Wright and Hoyt Wright; brother, Jerry (Jane) Mitchell of Harrison, TN.
A memorial service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Robert Schrader officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
