Bob Blevins Sr.

Mr. Blevins was born in Dade County, GA to Claude and Dorothy Blevins. He was a member of Sonrise Community Church and a graduate of Dade County High School. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Tennessee American Water Company as a Supervisor. He was also a member of the Lookout Valley Masonic Lodge #673, Riverside VFW Post 4848, and Vietnam Veteran Post 203.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Wynelle Byers.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Malinda Blevins; son, Bobby (Tracey) Blevins, Jr.; daughters, Rhonda (Ben) Rogers; and Shelly Boatner; grandchildren, John and McKenzie Blevins, Tennille Rogers, and Trace Boatner; brothers, Buddy Blevins and Jim Byers; brothers-in-law, Eddie (Lynn) Eddington and Robert Eddington; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, September 22nd at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Phillip Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West.

The family would like to thank the Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit for their care that they have given and Hospice of Chattanooga.
