Mrs. Millican was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a graduate of Central High School and a former member of Hughes Avenue Baptist Church. Brenda was previously employed as a Bookkeeper at Calhoun Pharmacy, Bank of East Ridge before retiring from Cornerstone Community Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Carl Frank Millican; and her parents, Gene and Mary Elizabeth Prestwood.
Surviving are her daughters, Lori (Dale) Elder and Sherry (Tommy) Jordan; granddaughter, Jennifer Kilpatrick and her father, David Strickland; sister-in-law, Annie Laura (Steve) Wyatt; brother-in-law, James R. Millican; and nephew, James Millican.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
