Carl Grant Langston

Carl Grant Langston, 76, of East Ridge, TN passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at his home. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and a longtime member of Second Presbyterian Church. Mr. Langston was owner and operator of Karlyn’s Hairloom Gallery and was a member of the Tennessee Hairdresser’s Association, Chattanooga Chapter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Lillie Eaves Langston and seven brothers, Robert, Cecil, Charles, Gene, Jim, Bill and Kenneth.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Rominger Langston; daughter, Karlyn Collins of Chattanooga; three sons, Robby (Stephanie) Carney of Chattanooga, Aaron (Jeannette) Grimes of Germany and Vincent Williams of Chattanooga; one sister, Virginia Jo Pannell of East Ridge; 12 grandchildrenseveral nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Jim Davenport and Pastor Diane Stocker officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday and from 12-1 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
