Carol Ann Barnes

Mrs. Barnes was born in Sequatchie, TN to the late Loyd and Ada Luvillia Coppinger and was a graduate of Hixson High School. Carol was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family and was very involved with her grandchildren including their sporting activities.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Wendell Barnes; sons, Sean Martin (JoAnne) Gallagher and Allan (Jennifer) Barnes; grandchildren, Allana, Laurel, Reece, Darby and Ella; brothers, Jim (Karen) Coppinger, Neil Coppinger, and Bobby (Louise) Coppinger; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2011and from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home with Dr. Stephen Anthony officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.

Pallbearers will be Mickey and Josh Murphy, Bo, Barry and Matt Coppinger, Tommy Jenkins, Greg Laminack and Jamie Heard.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist.
