Carol Ann Trotter, 75, of East Ridge, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. She was a longtime member of Edgewood Baptist Church and the Victory Sunday School Class. Carol headed up the Senior Adult ministry, “Golden 60’s” and was a member of the Joy Circle. She graduated from Chattanooga State College with a degree in Office Management and retired from Simco Leather as office manager.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Trotter, Sr.; son, James A. Trotter, Jr.; parents, James Robert Aslinger and Ella Lloyd Lee Aslinger; brother, Danny Aslinger and sister, Linda Lester Bench.
Survivors include her adopted daughter, Dina Parris; two granddaughters, Ashley Trotter and Caitlyn (Greg) Ruszczyk; great-grandson, Haden Hensley; brother, Bob Aslinger; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Dale Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
