Charles Granville Kelley

Charlie was a member of First Christian Church. He was a long-time teacher and professional tennis instructor.

He graduated from McCallie School and the University of Chattanooga and attended the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis.

Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Agnes Kelley and a brother, Vernon Kelley Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rose Ann Kelley; sons Mark Vernon, Kevin McCarthy and Sean Granville Kelley, all of Germantown, TN.; step-children, Samuel E Bryant of Memphis, John H. Bryant, Syracuse, N.Y., Eben P. Bryant, Shelbyville, TN and Shelby J. Bryant of Senegal, Dakar (Africa); 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services in Chattanooga; a graveside service will be held in Memphis.
