Charles Moses Jr was my Uncle and a great man. I could not remember a time when he wasn't happy, smiling or helping others out. When my father passed, he was always willing to help my mother if any difficult projects needed to be done, since I and the rest of my siblings no longer lived in Chattanooga. He liked everyone he met and no one will ever forget him. My prayers for peace are with the family.

Charles was a great guy with a great spirit. He was a faithful servant to the East Ridge congregation and to the Lord. It was an honor being his pastor and an honor serving with him. He was kind, considerate, reasonable and loving, and loved by all. Prayers for all the family.

Prayers and much love are with the family
Some of my best memories are with Mr and Mrs Moses and my almost sister Carol. Mr. Moses helped lead me to the Lord when I was 15 years old. I was baptized at their Church which was the old Stanley Heights Baptist Church in East Ridge. No better gift than precious salvation. Mr. Moses my almost dad I will see you again someday along with mrs. Moses my mom and my husband of 45 years. Love Elizabeth Hambright McCoy

Carol, Jim and family - I was so sorry to read of Jr's passing. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. Jr and Edna were such a big part of my early years. We lost track over the years, but it was always great to see Jr out and about in East Ridge when I lived there later. I am so sorry I will be unable to give you my love in person, but I am still out of the US in Panama. My most sincere prayers for comfort, you are in my thoughts.
Love you all
Suzanne

My aunt lived in the room next to Charlie at RW. Before Covid, I talked to Charlie all the time in the dining area. What I remember most about him was his big smile. It just brightened up my day when I saw him. He didn't have to say a word. I loved him so much and will miss him a lot. He definitely left a legacy behind at RW. I have been praying for your family during this difficult time.

We will miss “Pops”. He was such a sweet man. We have a lot of good memories when he was a member of our “Misfits” group. We will miss him but Heaven is sweeter with him there. Our prayers are with Carol, Jim and the rest of the family.

Charles Moses was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was like a member of the family along with Mrs. Moses, Carol & Jim and the kids. One of the most fond memories I have is after Karen and I moved to Birmingham, AL, we needed help finishing our basement and as usual, Mr. & Mrs. Moses were right on the spot. They came down with my Mom and Step-father and we worked all weekend on the basement. When they left, the basement was finished. We had a great time eating, having fun, cutting up, and generally enjoying each other's company. I will miss Mr. Moses, like we miss Mrs. Moses. Dearly loved and missed. Heaven got a great one !
