Charles Edward “Ed” Talley, 97, of East Ridge, TN passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired as an Engineer from the Chattanooga Fire Department after 25 years of service. Ed was a Veteran of the US Army and an excellent story teller.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Talley and a daughter, Carol Bradley.
Survivors include two granddaughters, K. Diedra Philpott and Stacy Philpott; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 PM Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Spurling officiating. There will be no visitation.
