Clara Ross

Clara Ross, age 84 , a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 3, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Jannuth Hambrick. Mrs. Ross was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Preceded in death by husband of 68 years, Clyde Ross; son, Clyde Ross Jr.

Survived by two sons Jimmy (Diane) Ross of Knoxville, Tennessee and Rodney Gerald (Denise) Ross of Chattanooga; daughter, Jan (Michael) Webb of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Jo (Ted) Vickery of Chattanooga and Geneva (Robert) Vickery of Chattanooga.

The family wishes to express special thanks to caregiver, Marcy Goodgame and to Sue Travis for being such a great friend.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Fate Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
