Mr. Glenn was born and raised in McMinnville, TN. He enlisted in the US Army during World War II and retired later from the U. S. Post Office. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Tyner Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Glenn; parents, Victoria and E. F. Glenn, Sr.; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.
Surviving are his daughter, Renee (Hank) Swicegood of Louisville, TN; son, Rick Glenn of Chattanooga; grandson, Jonathan (Jessica Skipper) Riggs; brother, Era (Ethel) Glenn, Jr.; sister, Rebecca Nobles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2012 and from 2 to 3 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be 3 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the funeral home with Ministers John Cupp and George Cupp officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
