

Clifford Dyer Fry, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away on November 11, 2011. Clifford was born in Greeneville, Tennessee on June 20, 1926. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and retired from TVA in Chattanooga.
He was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church since 1961, and served as the Sunday School Greeter Chairman for over 30 years. He was also a Deacon for many years.
He served in the Korean War at the US Navy and Marine Training Center in Birmingham, Alabama and in WW II in the Navy V-12 Program. Clifford also was an active member of the American Legion Post 95.
He was a member of the East Ridge Lions Club for many years. He coached little league baseball at Anna B. Lacy Elementary School, and served on several committees with the Chattanooga Boys Choir.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Carter Fry of 61 years; mother, Pauline Luttrell Fry; father, Lawrence Fry, Sr.; and a sister Marie.
He is survived by his son, C. Randolph Fry of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughter, Jennifer Amanda Fry of Chicago, IL; grandson, Christopher Randolph Fry, of Hagerstown, Indiana; granddaughter, Jessica Arin Fry of Hagerstown, IN; sister, Phyllis Verran; and brothers W.D. and Lawrence Fry, Jr of Greeneville, TN.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Leukemia Society.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
