Connie White Stephens, 88, of East Ridge died Wednesday, February 04, 2015. She was born March 22, 1926 in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Carney Zeddie and Ava Jane White. Mrs. Stephens moved to Rossville, Georgia at an early age. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie S. Tatum and a sister-in-law Carol White. Mrs. Stephens was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Debbie (Ned) Cofer, Becky (Joel) Hardin and Sandy (Jeff) Quattlebaum; son Lamar (Kelly) Stephens; brothers, Ralph White and Allen “Pete” (Louellen) White; sister Florence (Jack) Smart; son-in-law, Jim Tatum; brother –in-law, Bobby (Jonnie) Stephens; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Larry Dial officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 4-8 Friday evening.
