Darrell L. McKaig, 51, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010. He was born September 21, 1959. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He worked for Burner Systems International for the past few years. His family and many friends will miss him a lot and he was loved by all. He would want everyone to know he is in a better place and would want you to smile and enjoy his memories.
Survivors include his wife, Renee North McKaig; son, James Brian McKaig; daughter, Jessica Merciers; granddaughter, Mailee Merciers; parents, Phyllis and Carl McKaig; brother, Jerry McKaig; two sisters, Sherry Shaw and her husband Danny, and Joan Patton; two nieces, Katie and Lindsey Shaw; one nephew, Jeremy McKaig; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
