David was such a blessing to the children at the Bethlehem Center as our liaison from Brainerd UMC. We loved every interaction with him and will dearly miss him.

Donna, Jamie and family,
We were so sorry to hear of David's passing. We happen to be in Chattanooga briefly and while eating breakfast saw the sad news. We will always be thankful to him for his great devotion to the basketball teams especially when we first arrived in Chattanooga. They became a place where RJ found friends and someone who cared about him all at the same time. I know, from running in to him over the years, that he did indeed love Brained UMC and enjoyed his Bible study and fellowship with other Christians. We will keep you in our prayers during this time of loss and grief.

Worked with David for many years at Combustion Engineering during the 70's and 80's. He was a great guy and a math genius. Sorry for everyone's loss. As I remember he had some feet as well.

Donna and Jamey,
Nothing but great memories of 'Coach'. Loved having him as a basketball coach and youth group leader/speaker. When he talked, we all listened. Will miss his voice. He was always so funny, concerned, and helpful. He sure helped my family out when my Dad was sick. So sorry to hear about your loss.
